Be the 'Blue Backed Manakin'​ at the work place.

Animal Kingdom is full of surprises and wonderful creatures with strangely unique and sometimes weird rituals. When it comes to mating rituals, Blue Backed Manakins have the most distinguished and interesting ritual. In order to impress a female, usually a group of 3-4 Manakins perform a collective dance by taking their turns one by one. Each one gets a fair share to showcase their moves. Even though the dance is performed in a competitive manner, but there is cooperation with each other. 

By the end if the female is impressed, one of the males get a chance to mate with her. Clearly knowing that only one will be the chosen one, the Manakins still cooperate because they know that by performing together, they are increasing each other’s chances to succeed.

The lesson here is that sometimes it is better to work together even if it is with your competitors.
